The Asp-Micro TM160Y handheld Industrial/Marine thermal monocular is equipped with a 160×120 infrared detector and a 720×540 LCOS display. It supports functions of observation, highest temperature target tracking, distance measurement, WiFi hotspot, and so on. The high-sensitivity built-in thermal detector provides you with clear view even in total darkness. Thanks to this, Asp-Micro allows you to observe boats, navigational objects, navigate at night, detect people overboard, as well as observe sea animals and birds.
The monocular is mainly applied to scenarios such as patrolling, law enforcement, searching and rescuing, drug enforcement, antismuggling, surveillance of industrial facilities, boating, travel, fishing and hunting, etc.

FIRMWARE UPDATE INSTRUCTION

Please read the instructions below before updating the firmware.

Check current firmware version of your device, for this go to your device’s main menu to option “Info” or “Version” and check what number you have. Compare the number with the latest version of the firmware on the AGM website.

Download the firmware update package to your PC and unzip it.

NOTE: Do not open the DAV or BIN file on your computer as it may corrupt the file.

Connect the thermal device to your PC with USB cable.
Turn on the thermal device.
Disable the Wi-Fi Hotspot function in the device menu if WiFi is enabled.
Open the detected disk (USB drive) in file manager program. Copy the unzipped .dav file and paste it to the root directory of the device.
Turn off the device.
Turn on the device. After a while, the firmware update process will start automatically. During the update, the screen will display the inscription "Upgrading ...". The update process will be completed when the inscription "Upgrading ..." goes out. Repeat steps 4-6 for each updating file.
Turn off the device and disconnect it from your PC.

WARNING:
If your device does not have a built-in rechargeable battery and is powered by replaceable Lithium batteries, remove the batteries from the battery compartment before connecting the device to your PC, or it may cause computer damage.

If you removed the batteries, please make sure the device is connected to the computer during the update process. Otherwise, the device will shut off and may cause unnecessary upgrade failure, firmware damage, etc.

To begin the procedure for updating the firmware of your equipment, you must confirm that you are familiar with and agree to the "AGM GLOBAL VISION" Export Policy («AGM GLOBAL VISION» Export Policy). By continuing the process of updating your device, you are confirming that you received this device legally and in compliance with all applicable US export laws and that you are not on the Banned Persons List and/or are not affiliated with any of the Banned Persons as defined by the US Government.
If these conditions are met, please check the box on the left and follow the instructions for updating the hardware firmware.
